Monkey Mind
I read a fuuny but thought provoking story . There was a zoo where the zookeeper fed the monkeys with 10 peanuts in the morning and 4 peanuts in the evening per monkey-head. It seemed the monkeys were disgruntled because they were given much less peanuts in the evening munch-time! There was a meeting between them and the zookeeper about this quantiy discrimination issue. Next day the zookeeper gave the monkeys 4 in the morning and 10 in the evening. The monkeys were glad their quota was increased in the evening though they would oneday fight for more nuts in the morning. Our minds too are akin to these revolting monkeys, always claiming more, protesting without satisfaction, demanding unreasonably. But nature knows her economy of things.
